The inspiration for this website came from my great friends and family here in Scotland.

I used to workout at a mainstream gym and play loads of soccer games, and many people missed a LOT of their gym classes or 

did not go at all because of work and family commitments – as well as the terrible traffic.

Folk had got married, got new jobs, moved home or even popped a baby or two. They just wanted to get back into training after gaining that jelly belly or a big booty.

They asked me, “Could you please send some short programmes by e-mail so I can exercise at home when I have that spare 30 minutes?” – and that’s how Science Body Mind was born. My students and I discovered that studying the most effective exercises online can be extremely convenient and effective.

If I’m being honest, I also believe that iced almond milk lattes and a donut can cure almost any bad day. Just don’t do it everyday!

What is Fitness? Our Definition:

A fit person has the ability to handle the stress and strain of daily modern living, be approachable, able to handle criticism, accept mistakes and use them to enhance one self and teach others to be well and excel in life, have a high level of cardiovascular and muscular fitness, the ability to maintain positive, and have meaningful social relationships, and an active lifestyle that includes good habits, such as a well-balanced diet, avoidance of substance abuse, use of cigarettes, energy drinks, excessive sugar, sweetener, coffee and tea intake and a regular sleep pattern. In this sense fitness is not a unchanging condition. It is a productive and developing sense of trying to achieve the best quality of life possible. When a fit person faces a problem she finds solutions through patience, logical, clarified thinking and research.

My Journey

It all started in 2015...

I was reading a lot on the internet about fitness and health as I got busy with my job and started to put

on a lot of belly fat.

One thing that stuck out was that there was a lot of jargon and scientific terms on the net. I thought, most people will not understand it.

With so many friends and family time-strapped and struggling to eat well and exercise, I started this

website.

I am always looking for different ways to present information. I want to make life easy for you, so that you are not stuck exercising for months without any results.
